Breast Cancer Awareness

belief kindness motivation personalized gifts smiles

As my sister was getting ready to go back into the workforce after being a stay-at-home mom for several years, she felt a roller-coaster of emotions.  A health physical was the last thing needed for her to begin working. While a mammogram was not necessary, her doctor said since you are already here, let’s schedule you one and you will have had a complete physical.  So, she did the routine mammogram and to her surprise, the results were not what she was expecting.

The back story here, our amazing mother is a breast cancer survivor.  She was fortunate to be diagnosed early and had wonderful doctors that gave her the best treatment so she can say, survivor!  We are so grateful for her care and her positivity during that time, as hearing the word, cancer is the scariest thing in the world.  So, when my sister, who only was at her physical so she could accept a job offer, was given the opportunity to have a routine mammogram, we were not ready to hear cancer again.

My sister had very aggressive surgery and radiation treatment one year ago.  She is now cancer-free! In honor of her fight, my husband and I wanted to give her something that would provide some comfort. She received a personalized blanket with her name on it with the words, Strength and Courage!  It is the softest blanket ever and was a little reminder that even though we were not there, we were thinking of her and she is loved. That is what is so cool about personalized gifts, it is made just for them!

I am guessing everyone at some point in your life has been impacted by cancer.  October is breast cancer awareness month and in honor of my mom and sister, I am offering our custom design blanket for 25% Off.  We are also going to donate 10% of the profits to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Our goal at WeHeart.Biz is to share a smile by creating happiness for others.  I cannot think of a better way to do that than by gifting this amazing soft blanket to someone who is in this fight or is a survivor of breast cancer.  Let them know you care and share a smile!
